Things are moving along!

With steel going up, things seem to be moving along again. Watching those steelworkers climb along those beams as the crane hoisted them into place, I could have stood there all day! The second story and bell tower frames are now up and floor frames are almost completed too. So steel is in place and forms have been poured for the main stairway entrance. On the inside, wood work continues on the walls and duct work moves along as well. Color choices for the reredos will need to be made soon. There are samples painted on the walls so we can see how they look. We also see some of the refurbished stained glass reinstalled in the northeast wall windows. Maybe we should wait to pick the colors when the light from the windows is back to normal. Right now, there is still a lot of diffused white light coming into the santuary that won't be there once all the stained glass is back in place. New pictures are in the slide show.
