Sept. 18th and after the first pour (0r pumping) of concrete the forms need to be broken down and prep work for the next section to be poured. Before that work can happen though, there needs to be some wiring demolition completed. The electric and gas lines (old ones) have been cut already, but today, Verizon was on site to demo the final phone wiring leading from the rectory to the church. Parishoner Jim L. was on the crew assigned to do the demo work, so a shout out to Jim and his crew! On the inside, the framing is complete as is the insulation and the electricians were in to do their final work on the new wiring before the walls can be covered up!
