Pouring (Pumping) Concrete

Sept. 16th sees new equipment on the construction site. Two concrete trucks and an arial pumper were on hand to begin filling the forms with their mixture of cement, sand and stone. Work began this morning in the southeast corner on a wall that will become part of a hallway, leading from the elevator service area to the cafeteria. I can imagine the children (and perhaps the teachers too) in the classrooms on the south side of the building must be having a difficult time concentrating on their studies with all the activity outside.
